Children need lots of opportunities for physical activity, both for good health and for skill-building. Children are in constant movement and they learn about their body and how it works with opportunity to touch, pull, grab, climb, slide, dance, tap, march and interact with the world around them while they are exercising their muscles. Play in Motion it’s develop through different experiences building up children's motor skills.
There are two areas involved in this workshop called:
Involves gross and fine motor skills from touching to kicking a ball. Playful physical activities make children feel good about themselves, be more agile, have more mobility, stability and strength. Our children participate in fun and challenging activities that help build skills and coordination but aren't beyond their abilities
Involves all musical experiences, from the use of a shaker to singing songs in our “get-together” time. We incorporate music and movement into your daily routine, during our "get-together" time, when we make transitions from one activity to another, when we are in the playground and through many other enrichment activities.
